I wrote a piece for The Root today on how the drama between Khloe Kardashian and Amber Rose seems to be much ado about “slut shaming,” race and class. Namely, Rose and Kardashian trade in the same industry, but for some reason having wealth and privilege makes being a sexy femmebot an empowering decision. How dare Amber “choose her choice” of being a stripper at 15, but lets “celebrate” the equally provocative choices of La Familia Kardashian because … *shoulder shrug* … um … *record scratches.*
