The Snob Is Now at The Root

logo-therootSorry I haven’t been updating my page lately, but it’s for a good reason! I joined the staff of The Root last week as their newest associate editor. I will be writing, editing, recruiting and producing story packages for the African American interest news site. I’ve written for The Root off and on for years, so I’m really excited about finally joining the staff. Plus, my biffle Yesha Callahan and I get to be co-workers again! And isn’t that what really matters?

As always, thanks for your support!

LISTEN: Talking Slut-Shaming, the Kardashians & Amber Rose on #Politini

I joined Aisha and Danielle Moodie-Mills for their Politini podcast Thursday night where I was invited to talk about the recent article I wrote for The Root on how race and class intersect in the Khloe Kardashian/Amber Rose slut-shaming fight. We had a great, lively chat (I’d already had a couple glasses of wine before I called in), and Aisha and Danielle are incredible to chat with … so enjoy!

You can download the podcast and listen to it here.
