  1. jjai: I'm going to go out on a limb and say about 85 percent or higher of my readers are either Michelle admirers to straight up Michelle stans. I used to wonder if people would tire of pictures of her, the hubby and the daughters, but then I thought, "What am I saying? We're talking about black women here. We can look at a gorgeous black family for DAYS and we are hoping Barack wins so that those days will turn into YEARS of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Maria Pinto Monochrome Dresses. Folks see Sasha and Malia and are like, Barack & Michelle — adopt me!"So, thank you. We will all love these pictures just fine and thrill at every moment because as black women we are deprived of these images either in the media or in real life. GIVE BLACK WOMEN THEIR FANTASY, AMERICA! YOU OWE US!!!

  2. That woman is soooooooo loved. Do you see how he looks at her and how they’re always touching. Just such a wonderful sight.Reminds me of something Dr. Phil once said. He said his goal was to make his wife feel that no other woman in the room was as loved as she was. I think that’s exactly how Michelle Obama feels.I’m really enjoying your great wit, intelligence and photos. Great job!!!Nona

  3. Well, I’m a man and I’m going to think and say manly things. When I see Michelle’s luscious hips and gorgeous rear, I know part of the reason Obama’s in love. I am what I am.

  4. Hi, how are you? I am sending you this comment, because I am serching for blogger friends, and your site is interesting to me. I have an art blog here in San Diego, and I am curious if you would become my freind? Are you up to it?I hope to see you soon on my art blog, and take care,Sincerely, Jesse

  5. AaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAHHH! Every time I SEE pictures of these two, I have a coniption fit! I just don’t know what to do with myself. She’s gorgeous, he’s real, and they love each other INSANELY. AHHHH!I’m sorry. I just can’t get enough. It’s to the point where I just start tearing up when I see them because it’s so lovely. And I know I’m supposed to be cool, calm, objective journalist, but… damn, son. That’s some ish to aspire to.*sigh* … and *tear*

  6. OH! And I almost forgot… notice how close he keeps her hand next to him when they’re walking hand-in-hand. It’s almost like “I’m protecting you” and “I need you” at the exact same time.*sigh*…. again.

  7. Snob: I am not black or a woman and I want to thank you for these pictures. They just look so damn GOOD together. I say that’s the kind of healthy we need our leaders to be. I mean take even a quick look at them and who wouldn’t want to be Barack or Michelle? As opposed to what we have now- I, for one, would rather die horribly than be chimpy or darth (or be married to them). I guess I just wanted to try lifting this up past race and gender (although I do apreciate your view on black families) and maybe get to the pretentiousness of “I like them too, dammit!” -Doug in Oakland

  9. Snob, I’m not black and these pictures make me tear up too. I’m South Asian, and IMO, SAs find the Obamas inspiring because, like most us, this is a family that is multi-national and multi-cultural. I can relate to having spent years in different countries, and despite being the citizen of one nation, having ties to many others. The Obamas represent that ecclectic mix where we can all find something to identify with. Also, my mom didn’t really know whether she would pick Hillary or Obama until she saw the adorableness that is Michelle and the little girls, and then she was sold 🙂

  10. Dahling you don’t wear your Grandmother’s drapes to the 1st debate!!!! Come on people that dress, designer or not, is HIDEOUS!!! Michelle you are the 1st lady! Dress like it! ALL the time not when you or your handlers think you should! Baby this “dress’ if you will, is scream theater! Don’t do this again! 🙁 Tell the truth people! If we cannot speak the truth on Black Snob then where??????
