And Yet Another New Yorker Cover Parody

This makes, what? Four now? This comes via Vanity Fair online.

We had our own presidential campaign cover in the works, which explored a different facet of the Politics of Fear, but we shelved it when The New Yorker’s became the “It Girl” of the blogosphere. Now, however, in a selfless act of solidarity with our downstairs neighbors here at the Condé Nast building, we’d like to share it with you. Confidentially, of course.

  1. I still don’t think it’s as offensive as the Obama one. They should have had something to symbolize McCain’s war mongering. That would be the equivalent to the Obama cover because it would show the candidate as something he has denied he is. It should have had something about bombing Iran. They could have also showed Cindy with beer (that is behind most cases of domestic violence and numerous car accidents and deaths, and liver disease) and lots of money. She should be shown as a privileged princess.

  2. Meh!At least this one is vaguely based on facts, but it could never be as offensive as that stupid Obama/New Yorker one.And trying to scoop up some of the attention arising from the New Yorker faux pas is typical media hypocrisy.So….meh.
