Santorum Passive-Aggressively Endorses Romney In Email

"What? Burying an endorsement in an email isn't cool these days? An endorsement is an endorsement, Jay. He's lucky I didn't write it out with flaming bags of dog poop."

Rick Santorum of the Losing-the-GOP-Nomination-Santorums doesn't like Mitt Romney. And not in that, "All is far in love and politics," "let's have a good ol' roudy-bout and give them a show" competitive sort of way. No. This is a real, tangible, deep-seated John McCain-esque dislike, where disdain is covered in a patina of smirk and a low register grumble. Where all smiles are asymmetrical, Dick Cheney style, and all endorsements are said through grit teeth. Or, in the case of Santorum endorsing My Fair Mittens via email.

Mad harsh, son.

Michelle On Jay Leno

Favorite part: Michelle discussing Malia's concern that her father's ad buy to be on the major networks could impact her TV. Daddy didn't buy time on Nickelodeon or Disney so your safe, weeMichelle!

As for the outfit, I think all the parts, even the pin, look nice separately. Not a fan of them together. But she did well, as expected, and has become increasingly more comfortable with every interview she's done. This one, by far, seems to be her most relaxed. Maybe she really, really did want to be on The Tonight Show. She is in Jay's demo!

I enjoyed Jay's impression of Barack Obama negotiating calmly with his Michelle about what he is and isn't going to do. And I'd say that La Femme Obama tastefully won over Jay in the same manner than Jon Stewart was all docile when she went on The Daily Show and Stephen Colbert was practically braying "rub my belly!" as he serenaded her for some comedy gold.

Michelle Obama Goes Yellow for Leno

I didn't watch The Jay Leno Show Monday night -- because I don't watch it any night -- so I'm clueless as to what was discussed. In media reports earlier on Monday I read she likes to shop at J. Crew. But I wanted to make sure I had the photos available because ... I care.

Once again, I am considering declaring a fatwa on her sparkly pins, but I won't fully judge the outfit until I see video of her standing up in it. (Photos by The Associated Press)

Michelle Meets Jay, Jay Meets Michelle!

The venerable Mrs. O will be making an appearance on Jay Leno tonight. With eight days left of campaigning, Michelle Obama has been everywhere this October working to jazz up support for her husband. From the stump to cuddling Barack lovingly after every debate, Michelle has taken her super helpmate action to the max.

And if I ever stop being lazy, I'll doodle a picture in honor of her with Michelle cast as Ororo Munroe, aka "Storm," an X-Woman who really should have her own movie if Halle Berry hadn't screwed up the part by being absolutely wrong to play a 5'11" African glamazon who just happens to be Queen of Kenya when she's not saving the world. (How someone so fierce could be made so boring is beyond me.)

Besides, Barack seems like Ororo's kind of man. Half-Kenyan/half-American, smart, aspiring to the highest office of the land ...

Wait ... maybe Michelle Obama IS Storm! Check for her personal affects for brown eye contact lenses and hair dye!
