Santorum Sez: Going to College Turns You Into Barack Obama

As if that's a bad thing.

Rick Santorum, college graduate and presidential candidate, recently argued that Barack Obama, college graduate and current president of the United States, was a "snob" because he wanted all Americans to have the opportunity to go to college. Santorum argued that this seemingly benign thing had malevolent intent because college is the place Liberals are made -- or something. Ignoring the fact that pretty much everyone running for president, including himself, went to college, and in the case of the GOP candidates, somehow they all went to college and weren't turned into sodomites and radical black leftists. Nope. They went to college and are still their same obnoxious, narcissistic selves. Because, as you know, college is a place where you get an education, not a "re-education."

The Not-Quite-Gangbangers of Harvard

Apparently, a JD from Harvard can get you into the White House, but it can’t get you into the club. Recently, a party organized by black Harvard and Yale Alums was shut down because the club owners didn't realize there would be so many black folks at the party for the black people. As the line of black students/alums grew outside the venue, owners sounded notice that they were halting the event, due to "technical difficulties." Or, in other words, you might have a degree from Harvard/Yale, but technically, you're still black and therefore quite terrifying and therefore you might have that black Hulk-like rage and go "Black Hulk SMASH!" and "BLACK HULK KILL ALL DEH WHITE PEOPLE!"

Are Black Boys Doing Even Worse In School?

A new report was released Tuesday that made the education of black males sound even more dire than many already thought. A study commissioned by the Council of the Great City School says "Black males continue to perform lower than their peers throughout the country on almost every indicator."

The report calls the educational gap a "catastrophe" that needs intervention from the highest levels.

Letters From Luvvie: Dear Morehouse (Guest Blogger)

You've probably heard the new dress code that Morehouse College, an all-male HBCU (Historically Black College/University), has given its students. They've released 11 stipulations that students must follow, or risk being suspended from school. They are more than deserving of this week's sternly-worded letter.

Dear Morehouse,

You know you're kind of full of sh*t, right? When I first saw the new dress code you released for your students, I surely thought it was some kind of random joke or satirical piece. Surely, a place of higher learning did not just make an extensive list of things that are unacceptable to rock on a campus. Is the school so on point that the most pressing matter is its students' way of dress? Yeah, NAW I don't think so. Word on the street is that your enrollment rate is down, as well as your retention and graduation rates. I doubt that this will be helping either. I guess that in whatever struggles you may be having, the most important thing is that the men on your campus maintain their segzy and moisturize their situations in the most conservative way possible.

Sign of the Times: Unemployed College Grad Sues College for Tuition

Um ... I didn't know colleges guaranteed you jobs. I thought they just promised to educate you, but, hey, if you can get a lawyer to file the papers you can sue. What’s next? An online school graduate suing because they didn’t get hired by a Fortune 500 company?

Tis the American way!

Story after the jump.
