The Snob Will Be On NPR's Tell Me More Today
I'm back ... on NPR's "Tell Me More" with Michel Martin this Wednesday. We'll be talking about the recent Supreme Court decision on Arizona's controversial anti-illegal immigration law, women "not" being able to have it all and that horrible Fifty Shades of Grey book that's oh-so-popular. I'll post the audio of the chatfest when it goes live later today online. Check your local NPR listings for Tell Me More.

Most people I've heard from hated the book because of the author's overuse of certain words and it being poorly written in general. I can't wait to hear your take.
Looking forward to hearing you. :)

@MissezB I think I REALLY need to know what the verdict about this book is. Everyone I've heard from loves it because it's mainstream erotica. I need to know what it's like for real because we're giving away the whole trilogy (KIndle ebook version) to our readers and fans. I'll pull that thing in a heartbeat if I need to because we don't want to be associated with trash...and I'm too lazy to read it. lol

I read book one and two and stopped. There was no reason to make that a trilogy. It was repetitive and predictable after a while.
saying it is liberating for women is a joke
. saying its mommy porn is a offensive and dangerous.
it is a disgusting display of EVERYTHING wrong with today's views on sexuality... hes an absolute prick, has slept around, mocks her, makes her feel insecure, uses her, embarrasses her, insults her, STALKS her, the sex is unrealistic and pathetic. The snm stuff is clearly for shock value more than anything else..
of course the first mainstream erotica for women ( using the terms very loosely) is about a naive virgin who has never even masturbated or been sexually aroused until she meets mister-dickhead-i go to prostitutes-and want you as my pet-grey.
Biggest step back for women in a long time. And half the girls out there don't even realize what this poorly written crap is representing---- yet another excuse for guys to demoralize women.
and the sex isnt sexy or realistic equating these books to porn is like equating a cheeseburger to 3000 big mac meals.
