President Obama Announces End of Combat Operations In Iraq (Video)

No party. No parade. No "Mission Accomplished." No "V" for victory. The unnecessary war is over (kind of). Last one in Iraq who's not one of the 50,000 advisory troops left behind, please turn the light out before you go. (Via White House YouTube)

Ah yes, Obama the peace candidate who railed against Bush's surge. Now he reaps the benefits of the surge and pats himself on the back. Why not "blame" the success on Bush like he blames everything else on Bush?

so if combat breaks out, will the 50k soldiers....just advise?

@Scott
Yay, you're back! Still bitter as bad lemonade, however you are back none-the-less.
The voices in your head are still talking, I see. The whole reason for the uproar about Obama's speech is "He never said we WON or LOST"....he just said "IT'S OVER"....Why don't you use some of the Obamacare and go see a Specialist about your issues....HA!

It is starting to become a comedy routine whenever you appear on this site. I get really excited, like I do when I hear some of the crazy talk from FOX News. I love how the "Drug Addicts" of the Republican Party/ Libertarian Movement/ Crazy Rebs are the leaders and the voice of your movement. I am sure the AA meetings are also a hoot! Not to mention the pill popping theorists that sit in a circle to pontificate the "radicals on the Left"...It makes me laugh so hard that I can barely listen to the next show. The clown theatre that is put on by you and your friends against the "Liberal Elite" (translation - college educated, well researched and rehearsed) explains the high ratings on FOX. It is better than watching a romantic comedy and it comes on every day! Buffoonery at its best! That is why people tune in. They want to see what other "manifestations" these people can come up with. I really enjoy the people in at the rallies who try and explain why they are there. You can tell they have not picked up a book since 7th grade, yet they believe everything "Mr. Beck" (The militant Mormon) tells them to do. When he wears a Christmas sweater, they go out and buy Christmas sweaters (in May! HA!). When he writes on the chalkboard (which I find hilarious, because he has dumbed down the technology for his viewers) everyone wants a piece of chalk, or a poster to write on. HA! Too bad posters don't have spell check..HA! However the computer does, and obviously they are afraid of that too.

Here is a clue: Thomas Jefferson led the crusade against ignorance (your Founding Father)

When the Tea Partiers finally figure out that they have been CLOWNED by the circus of idiots on these shows pretending to understand the Civil Rights Movement, and having a "deeper understanding of God" I will be one of the first people to pop popcorn and watch the entire movement implode from the television. Remember, the Devil also knows the scriptures...heed my words. You will have egg and all kinds of shame on your face when you find out that they have used you like a pawn in a chess game. They have played on your ignorance of economics, history, vocabulary, legal terms, and cultural understanding to get you to believe that it is "Other people" who are screwing you over, when all along it was them, jamming you up with no Vaseline!

Proverbs 4:7...read it! It may save your life....

Please continue to hang around. I know I told you to leave before; however I kind of missed you....(a tear).

Justice

Justice, I agree. It's sad the state of American politics. We have the most dumb downed population, perhaps in human history. I see the Democrats as simply putting the gears on to prevent the inevitable. At some point--it may not be 2012--but eventually the GOP will regain the White House and put the final screws in the backs of the American people, particularly the lower and middle class. The Arizona law, which is legislated profiling, is just the beginning. Our so-called civil rights will be trampled on as never before. Meanwhile, the rich get richer, jobs will go abroad, our education will continue to decline, the poorer get poorer, and all the while The Tea Partiers will proclaim, "We're number one!" and "We took our country back!"

"Last one in Iraq who's not one of the 50,000 advisory troops left behind, please turn the light out before you go"

oh we will.

@swiv
As long as we're still out here walking around with our weapons "assisting" and advising, we're still in combat.
