Fly Black Chick Discovers Some "Smelly Business"

My friend [flahy][blak][chik] and I share some of the same beliefs about the current media phenomenon regarding the "unloveableness" of black women. As in people should just ignore it, lest they will drive themselves insane. After all, the media message about black women and men is so thoroughly depressing, I'm convinced it's part of some covert effort to destroy us via the power of suggestion. (You're too picky/angry/successful/insane, black women! Oh ... and black men ain't worth a durn. Why don't you all just go kill yourselves already?)

More after the jump.

So I had myself a good chuckle at this hot mess on my friend's site. There are whole industries built around the insecurities of women. But sometimes you just run out of things to scare women about. That's when you have to make up something and create a market where none existed. This is a tale of a press release gone terribly wrong that involves two women, Kenisha and Candace, and how they probably have some kind of horrid medical condition, but chose to go with a fancy, expensive, stainless steel, tap water-based douching system instead.

But they totally were able to find men afterwards, so it was was a solid investment. Click here for the full hilarious story (with video).

Oh, and in other black marriage crisis news, the woman behind Marry Your Baby Daddy Day (Lord, I hate the name, but ... sigh ... I understand her efforts and the passion behind it), has a Ning site. Ning it up!

I'm still contemplating emailing this PR firm...decisions decisions.

long before mainstream media made a spectacle about the single black women, single black women were doing it.

Word! It all gets to be too much sometimes. I was reading racial stats on a dating site and it had me feeling really down. Then I thought about it, and realized- hey- I was happy with my dating life before reading this, why should I let some "hot" (read: controversial, malleable and easily skewed and misconstrued) numbers get in the way of that.

So even if Kenisha and her weave are as funky as she claims, how the hell does this mean "other African-Americans could be empowered" ---- One or two smelly chicks= all of Black America?!! I wish Flahy Blak Chik would email that PR firm and tell them about some nasty White women who could also use a water bottle vinegar douche.

ok, i'm not hip on the purpose of douche. vinegar? gross. that's hella nasty. what guy wants to go downtown and come up smelling like that? nasty.

WTF?

Really?! I can't even wrap my mind around where to begin with this one. I just watched the entire video.

Aside from the question of this being an actual health problem or a proper way to address such an issue, "Kenisha" is on a YouTube video telling people that she paid $70 for something a dollar store water pistol would do?

I think in the end, I have to chalk this up to a sucker being born every minute.

and I am mad that she's black. Cuz that's a whole other nuther fo ya muther.

You might be right Snob, it could be some covert effort on the part of racists to destroy us so that they can make us suicidal or later act like they saved us, to keep us enslaved. Maybe racists rather that we die if they cannot keep us economically enslaved. A widely used strategy used in mind control is to destroy the victim’s life, self esteem, livelihood etc…and then come in and rescue the victim to make the victim dependent and even grateful to the perpetrator. It was used in both slavery and colonization, for example the invaders destroy a tribe to gain access to land, and then “help” the defeated people by feeding them even though the invaders destroyed the crops in the first place. The “helpful” perpetrators indoctrinate the tribes people in their culture and religion and as a result have willing brainwashed workers and new land.
Even abusive partners will use this strategy of tearing down then aiding their partner to make them willingly subservient. They teach them early like this PePe Le Pew cartoon where PePe forces the unwilling kitten off the cliff but then she has to “willingly” accept him because he is the one with the parachute.
Hilarious:

She must be a desparate wanna be actress who needed a job! However if she is for real and her kitten smells rogue then she might wanna check her bed partners. Just a thought..................

WTH?!!! I just don't know what this world is coming to. Seriously? Waterworks? No, it's called Gynecology works!
If she is smelling that bad, she might want to open up the yellow pages, find a gynecologist and stop relying on a contraption that was probably manufactured by 8 year olds in China.

Oh, and the eighth comment on this topic just killed me. Thanks for making me laugh, a great ending to a fabulous day.

Black Snob, you and your friend are the business.

Ciao Lady!
