Aretha Franklin and Condi Rice: Together At Last

Aretha Franklin, diva extrondinaire, just told Reuters that she plans on doing a series of concerts for charity, singing arias, featuring none other than former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice on piano. Hey, who said bipartisanship doesn't work! Well, not normally, but music IS amazingly bipartisan. Yay for music.

To be a fly on the wall at those rehearsals, wow. This is pretty cool, though-i would love to see one of their concerts. I have never heard Aretha sing opera. Not a Condi fan, but i've always heard she's an amazing musician (right/left side of the brain brilliance truly gets on my damn nerves)

Well I love Ms. Franklin but sandwiching her image right next to the cover with the FLOTUS and the apple is a bit humourous. Aretha loves those low cut dresses.....oh my!
