Bristol Palin Lost Her Amateur Clod-Hoofin' Show

She came in third. She was disappointed. She really wanted to win because, "Going out there and winning this would be like a big middle finger to all the people out there that hate my mom and hate me." Yes! That would have showed me! Only I don't hate her. Don't watch Dancing With the Stars. Did not vote. And morbidly wanted her to win just to screw with people who actually care about this mess. But, you know, this shit just got real for Bristol Palin because even goofy dancing shows featuring people who are not quite stars are now political. Really. Folks are shootin' teevees and mailing fake Anthrax over this mess. Priorities, America. Where are your priorities? Oh, yeah. You voted for Jennifer Grey to win. So ... you still ... don't have priorities, but possibly care about good dancing. Mmmkay. (The Daily Beast, Gawker)

judging from the amount of attention you've given her and her mom, i'd say you feel some type of way about them.

Considering this month was my first time covering the Palins with any depth since February when Sarah said something or other about Rahm, I'm going to go with I wrote about it because A) people asked my opinion and B) I enjoy making fun of them. Most of my posts are about how I find them hilarious.

I still find it ironic that an unwed teenager is getting all this exposure and money. I wonder if these people were brown, would they get all this positive attention?

@Sandy:

exactly. And the answer is no.

I'm definitely suffering from full-on Palin fatigue, and really want them to go away.

Kinda do hate her. Definitely hate her mother. Never watched the show. Glad it's over anyway.

I havent ever watched DWTS, however I think this had more with ABC trying to get high rating. I think it was not only ridge by Teaparty but by ABC executives. They are getting as bad as Foxnews. WE both know what candiate they support during the election and it was not my PRESIDENT. The promo for the final was ran every five minutes. The unwed mother was promoted as a star. Even on CNN, they was trying to uplift her as the underdog.. GMAFB. The show is definitely on the chopping block now because it will no longer be taken seriously if you can mess up the votes with a brunch of tried and disappointed voters because they lost the last election. I give the show one more season before it is cancel. Thanks ABC executives and Tea Parties for making another joke out of the Palins.. I needed another laugh.
