Ginni Thomas Leaves Tea Party Policy Clearinghouse

After channelling the 90s and reminding everyone of how gross that testimony against Clarence Thomas was during his Supreme Court confirmation hearings, Thomas' wife, Virginia "Ginni" Thomas is stepping down from her lead role with the grass roots conservative group she founded in May, Liberty Central.
As you may recall, Ginni, for some reason, decided very early one morning to call the Brandeis office of Anita Hill, her hubby's former employee, and ask her to apologize for possessing a vagina that apparently forced her husband to be as gross as possible around her.
No one thought these actions made any sense. Not. On. Any. Level. Mostly because Thomas is on the Supreme Court -- for life -- and got everything he ever wanted, despite being a pervert. Hill, to her credit, has pretty much moved on from the whole debacle. But Ginni felt like bringing up nearly 20 year old business and now she's decided she's a "celebrity" distraction at her own organization.
From The Washington Post:
"She'll take a back seat so that Liberty Central can continue with its mission without any of the distractions," said spokeswoman Caitlin Carroll of CRC Public Relations in Alexandria. "After discussing it with the board, Mrs. Thomas determined that it was best for the organization."
Liberty Central was founded to provide support and information to conservative activists and Tea Party groups by acting as a "clearinghouse" for what's conservative, "Tea Party" cannon and what's not. Now The Washington Post is reporting that the group may be merging with the Patrick Henry Center.

The Tea Party claims that they do not want the status quo of old crony DC, but they allowed their organization to be hijacked by the Republican party, so most of their behind the scenes leadership pulling the strings is the same people they claim they are trying to get away from. We really need an independent party that backs normal sane every day people for leadership who have common sense to make decisions that are in the best interest of the country and not themselves and their cronies.

Also I wish Ginni would stop smoking or pill popping (LOL), please I really don’t believe that Anita or anyone else in this world is in love with Clarence, but Clarence, gross…. And if Ginnie really was harassed I hope her attacker and his wife get space in a tabloid to claim that she loved it. Why People would run this nonsense about how they “survived” makes me want to vomit. I would prefer an article on how Anita “survived,” being harassed by a powerful man and his allies bent on destroying her for refusing Clarence’s sick advances and telling the truth about him. Sick perverts who harass women and hinder their careers should go hide somewhere when they are caught not try to claim their victims love them and especially not continue the harassment 20 years later in magazine articles and phone threats. Even if a harassment victim ever had any warm feelings for their abuser (doubtful) that does not invite perverted harassment and the destruction of the victims career to pressure them into sick coercive (rape) sex. This is almost as bad as blaming rape victims for possibly inviting the rape, that they “loved” their attackers and that People would give voice to such bizarre foolishness shows the caliber of their tabloid (pure garbage).
