Thanks! We have a lot of military on both sides of my family. My mother's grandfather served in World War I, on my father's side we have Buffalo Soldiers. From Army, Navy, Air Force to Marines, we are deep in it!

Don't they look especially glam! *Sigh* I am nostalgic for the times when everyday people used to look so fierce. To be clear, I don't want to live throught the crazy bits- I just want the glamor.

Btw, nice meeting you on the Metro last night. Looking forward to your next DC based get together.

How do you keep a people down? You 'never' let them 'know' their history.

Keep telling that history; read some great military history.

The 7th Cavalry got their butts in a sling again after the Little Big Horn Massacre, fourteen years later, the day after the Wounded Knee Massacre. If it wasn't for the 9th Cavalry Buffalo Soldiers, there would of been a second massacre of the 7th Cavalry. Read the book, ‘Rescue at Pine Ridge”, and visit website/great military history, http://www.rescueatpineridge.com
