Marc Lamont Hill Doesn't Even Know Why He Was Fired From FOX

He found out he was axed from a Google Alert, ya'll. A GOOGLE ALERT!

From Think Progress:

HILL: Yeah I mean it’s an interesting thing. I wish I could give you a great deal of information that I don’t have a lot of information because I wasn’t given a lot of information. To date, Fox News Channel hasn’t given me any information as to why. … I’m just a little puzzled. [...]

MALZBERG: First of all, you told me you found out when you got a Google alert, so I mean, did anybody eventually call you from Fox and tell you that you were fired?

HILL: Yeah I eventually – I got a Google alert at 11 o’clock [a.m.] that it had been announced that I’d been fired. After that, I guess someone followed up later in the day, you know because I was sort of trying to figure out what was going on. … I found out that it was true but other than that I don’t have any other information. … I haven’t had any thorough conversation with anyone.

Hill was a Liberal analyst for FOX News. His firing was initially announced at a shareholder's meeting by Rupert Murdoch, head of News Corp. after a reporter, oddly, asked why FOX employed Hill. The reporter stated that the pundit was a regular defender of "cop killers and racists." Classy. Murdoch then informed said reporter that Hill was already fired. Of course, Hill had no clue he was fired, but, HEY, people who defend Rush Limbaugh and his black friend stay (see Williams, Juan) and people who are Liberals go. Shit happens. Welcome to the recession, Hill!

If you are a liberal (hell even a moderate) pundit/correspondent on FOX NEWS, it is just common sense to have your resume up to date. As a liberal on an extremely conservative news network, Mr. Williams should have at least subconsciously anticipated that he would be fired in some BS fashion for some BS reason (which is as of yet unknown to all save the ones who did the firing). I'm sure Shepard Smith has his resume up to date in case he gets the axe...via a text message (sometimes I feel like he's trying to get the axe).

*I meant to say Mr. Hill not Mr. Williams.

Anyone else remember this jewish guy named Combes who used to work with Hannity on FOX? He was a terrrible "liberal" actor. I used to hate for him to have to try to defend Black issues, It was like watching him pitch lobs to Sean Hannity. FOX is not for "our kind of people". Sometimes carefully look at "who" owns these television and radio programs, its interesting. Brother knows why he got fired, trust me.

Well that mean Juan Williams better start talking louder and longer in his protests of the president.

No one should 'welcome' him to the recession. He's a highly paid professor
